ADVANTAGE 1 – STRESS INOCULATION TRAINING

True Stress Inoculation Training requires an incremental exposure to a stressor. Since non lethal training ammunition have a consistent mass and velocity, the pain penalty is not adjustable. The StressVest® has an adjustable pain penalty that allows the instructor to set the penalty to the appropriate level of the student being trained.


ADVANTAGE 2 – GREATER SAFETY & REALISM

Since the StressVest® system utilizes eye safe lasers and no projectiles, it allows for a safety template never before seen in force on force training. Unlike projectile systems that require all observers and participants to wear multiple pieces of safety equipment, the StressVest® system does not require any protective equipment. This allows students to observe suspect’s facial expressions, communicate clearly and creates a safer environment for observers.


ADVANTAGE 3 – CENTER MASS REWARD SYSTEM

One of the most common complaints from firearms instructors conducting force on force training is that students are rewarded regardless of their shot placement. Unlike projectile systems that make it difficult for role players to determine shot placement by students, the Stressvest® only acknowledges center mass hits. This forces the students to continue to shoot until proper shot placement has been obtained. After the scenario, the Instructor can read the number of successful hits. Side, arm, leg and head panels can also be added to the StressVest® system.


ADVANTAGE 4 – COST SAVINGS

There are several training firearm options available for use with the StressVest®. This includes dry fire, CO2 recoil, and blank fire kits. No additional costs are incurred for additional protective equipment, non lethal training rounds or extra safety personnel.


ADVANTAGE 5 – NO DAMAGE OR CLEAN UP

The StressVest® system allows for training in the actual environment that law enforcement and military conduct their business without worry of damage or messy clean up. Train anywhere . . . anytime.


ADVANTAGE 6 – REALISTIC SHOOTING DISTANCES

The accuracy and distance using lasers is a ballistic match to the issued ammunition. This includes the ability to shoot through windows or windshields.


ADVANTAGE 7 – ADVANCED TRAINING MODES

The patent pending software based controller allows for several modes:

  • Stress Exposure Mode: The level of shock can be set for each individual student.
  • Move to Cover Mode: Each successive hit will result in an increase in pain penalty. This will force the student to move during the fire fight.
  • Injured Officer Mode: After the student is hit, they will continue to
    receive a random pain penalty for the rest of the scenario. This teaches students proper mindset for winning encounters.
  • Role Player Mode: Delivers a vibration instead of pain penalty. The StressVest® can be set to activate only after a specified number of hits occur.

Advanced Training Modes

The patented StressX™ PRO Belt allows for a safe, localized shock to be delivered to the student to create stress or a vibration to be delivered to the role player to indicate a hit to center mass. The pain penalty is completely adjustable and the Advanced Training Modes allow for the system to enhance training through various methods of feedback.

Role Player Modes

Mode Number:
1 – Vibrator will activate every time a single hit is registered.
2 – Vibrator will activate every time two hits are registered.
3 – Vibrator will activate every time three hits are registered.


Stress Exposure Modes

Mode Number:
4 – Shock will activate every time a single hit is registered
5 – Vibrate will activate first hit and then shock ever hit afterwards.

Move to Cover Modes

Mode Number:
6 – First hit registered will vibrate, second will begin shock sequence.
7 – First hit registered will shock at Low setting then increase.
8 – First hit registered will shock at Medium setting then increase

Injured Officer Modes

9 – Will continue to activate randomly for 10 seconds after first hit.
10 – Will continue to activate randomly for 20 seconds after first hit.
11 – Will continue to activate randomly for 30 seconds after first hit.
12 – Will continue to vibrate randomly for 30 seconds after first hit.
